Outreach & Education Coordinator, part-time

 

The Outreach and Education Coordinator will play a pivotal role in engaging the community through outreach, effective communication, and event coordination. Reporting to the Executive Director (ED), this position will help expand Sustainable NCW’s reach and impact by:

• Creating, presenting and promoting sustainability education

• Managing some communication channels including social media

• Supporting outreach initiatives: Sustainable Bike CoOp, waste diversion and climate action education, and partner collaborations

• Representing the organization at community events

​

This position will assist SNCW and the ED to develop and grow strong relationships with other organizations, businesses, and community members, helping SNCW serve as a regional leader in sustainability education and action.

​

There is potential for this permanent position to grow to 30 hours a week, contingent on Sustainable NCW receiving additional funding.
