About The Event

Come learn about the wonders of biochar and the new plant going in outside of Leavenworth, as a part of the WVMCC's Environmental Film and Speaker series. C6 Forest to Farm's co-founders Tom and Gina McCoy will be sharing about how biochar production can benefit NCW by helping reduce wildfire risk, reducing smoke and greenhouse gas emissions, capturing and stabilizing organic carbon, and storing it as a long-term regenerative soil amendment.

We have the incredible opportunity to live in the homelands of the P'Squosa / Wenatchi people. The importance of acknowledging the true history of this land cannot be overstated. Thank you to our valley's first stewards. To learn more, visit the Indigenous Roots & Reparation Foundation.
